Terms of Service

Last updated: June 26, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Respondso (“Respondso”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and govern your access to and use of our website at https://respondso.com and the related application (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Respondso helps business owners generate and publish professional responses to Google reviews. When you connect your Google Business Profile, the Service can read your reviews, generate AI-suggested replies, and publish replies on your behalf when you click the corresponding button.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Accounts

  • You can create an account using Google sign-in or email and password.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us at support@respondso.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Google Business Profile access

To use core features, you may connect your Google account and grant Respondso the scopes needed to read locations and reviews and to publish replies. You can revoke access at any time inside the Service or at myaccount.google.com/permissions. You are solely responsible for the content of any reply published through the Service and for ensuring you have the right to manage the connected Google Business Profile.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to publish content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, deceptive, discriminatory, or that violates a third party’s rights.
  • Misrepresent your identity, impersonate another person or business, or manage a Google Business Profile without authorization.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
  • Use the Service to generate spam, fake responses, or content that violates Google’s policies, including the Google Maps user contributed content policy.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or that put the Service, our users, or third parties at risk.

6. AI-generated content

The Service uses AI to suggest replies based on the review text and your custom instructions. Suggested replies are drafts — you are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving them before publishing. AI output can be inaccurate or inappropriate; we do not guarantee its quality, suitability, or compliance with any specific policy. You retain ownership of the content you publish through the Service.

7. Free and paid plans

The Service is currently offered free of charge. We plan to introduce paid plans processed by a third-party payment provider (planned: Lemon Squeezy or Paddle). Once paid plans launch:

  • Subscription fees, billing cycles, and applicable taxes will be shown before you confirm a purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may offer refunds at our discretion.
  • We may change prices with reasonable advance notice. New prices apply to the next billing cycle.

8. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you submit to the Service, including custom instructions, drafts, and published replies. You grant Respondso a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. We will not use your content to train general-purpose AI models.

9. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Respondso and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks, logos, or brand elements.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Google, Cloudflare, Supabase, our AI provider (Lovable AI Gateway), and our future payment provider. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

11. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read it.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that AI-generated content will be accurate, or that publishing replies through the Service will not be affected by Google API changes or outages.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Respondso and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and (b) USD 50.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Respondso and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your content, your published replies, or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

15. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion by emailing support@respondso.com. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution.

16. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you by email or via a notice in the Service before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Respondso operates, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. To the extent permitted by law, you and Respondso agree to resolve any dispute arising out of or related to the Service exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you have under your local law.

18. Miscellaneous

  • If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
  • Our failure to enforce a right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
  • You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Respondso regarding the Service.
