Refund Policy

Last updated: June 26, 2026

This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for paid plans on Respondso (“Respondso”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). It applies together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Free plan

The free plan is, well, free — there is nothing to refund. You can stop using the Service at any time, and you can disconnect your Google Business Profile from Respondso or at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

2. Paid plans

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, depending on the plan you select). Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider (planned: Lemon Squeezy or Paddle), which also acts as the merchant of record where applicable.

3. 14-day money-back guarantee

If you are not satisfied with a paid plan, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment for that plan. To qualify:

  • The refund request must be sent within 14 days of the charge.
  • The request must come from the email address associated with your Respondso account.
  • The account must not show signs of abuse (for example, generating or publishing content that violates our Terms or Google’s policies).

4. Renewals

Subscription renewals (after the first billing cycle) are non-refundable. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel your subscription before the renewal date. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not refund the current period.

If a renewal charge was clearly unintentional — for example, you tried to cancel but a bug in the Service prevented it — contact us and we will review the case in good faith.

5. How to cancel

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings inside Respondso.
  • You can also cancel by emailing support@respondso.com from the email address on your account.
  • After cancellation, you keep access to paid features until the end of the current billing period.

6. How to request a refund

Send an email to support@respondso.com from the email address on your Respondso account and include:

  • The date and amount of the charge.
  • The last 4 digits of the card used, or the payment provider order ID.
  • A short reason for the refund request (optional but helpful).

We aim to reply within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through our payment provider. Depending on your bank, it can take an additional 5–10 business days for the funds to appear.

7. Usage of the Service

Respondso is an AI-powered service: every generated reply triggers a real, paid request to our AI provider, and those costs are non-recoverable for us. Because of that, meaningful use of the Service counts as consumption of what you paid for.

If, by the time you request a refund, your account has already generated a substantial number of AI replies or published replies to Google through Respondso, we may, at our discretion, reduce or decline the refund in proportion to that usage. We will tell you which calculation we applied and why.

This is a soft rule, not a hard cutoff — trying the product, running a few generations to evaluate it, or hitting an early bug will not disqualify you from a refund during the 14-day window.

8. Exceptions

We may decline a refund request if:

  • The request is made more than 14 days after the original charge and relates to the first billing cycle.
  • The request relates to a subscription renewal rather than the first payment.
  • The account was suspended or terminated for a violation of our Terms of Service.
  • We detect signs of fraud, chargeback abuse, or repeated refund requests across accounts.

9. Mandatory consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund or withdrawal rights you have under your local consumer protection law (for example, the EU/UK statutory right of withdrawal for digital services). Where those rights apply, they take precedence over this policy.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via a notice in the Service before they take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
